The Department of Economic Development of Dubai has prepared the 1st draft of Direct Selling legislation. The same has been sent to the Federal Government of UAE for approval and it is expected to be announced by the end of the year 2008. Many Direct Selling companies and distributors are desperately waiting for the legislation to be announced. During this period, the Direct Selling Educational Institute in Dubai is playing an important role educating both the companies as well as distributors on the very important topic of ethics and best practices.
“Dubai Government will be working with Direct Selling Educational Institute (DSEI) to legislate the direct selling industry in Dubai” announced Mr. Ali Ibrahim, Deputy Director General for Executive Affairs, Department of Economic Development, after a meeting with DSEI’s top management here yesterday.
Dubai, 10 Nov 2007: Direct Selling Educational Institute (DSEI) today announced that the Direct Selling Festival is getting a huge response from the international market and it already sold out more than 70% of the stands at the exhibition to be held 17th & 18th May 2008 in Dubai. Direct Selling Festival also released the latest list of confirmed exhibitors.
